Mothers are Precious - Mothers Day Cards

Do you remember who taught you your first alphabet? Your first ABC? If you remember its either your Mother or your teacher( for most of us). They are the ones who teach us our first letters, teach us to read and write and impart the education in us that make us what we are. I cannot imagine how it must feel not to be able to read and write. There are many human beings on earth who are without education, who do not know how education can enlighten a soul, or how education can bring out the diamond from the raw coal, I mean the best out of the unpolished human mind. For me and for most of us, the credit of bringing the best out of us through education goes to our mothers and our teachers. Mothers Day recipe - Mothers Day Cards

Mothers day 2008 is just four days away(May 11). I thought among other gifts, I need to bake a good cake. Mom would be very happy to see me baking right, as I am not as good with baking as cooking. I found this easy and simple Creamy Chocolate cup recipe. My mom loves anything to do with chocolate. Which woman doesn't like chocolate?

The Creamy Chocolate Cup recipe is as follows:

Ingredients

• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 2/3 cup whole milk
• 1 egg
• 1 cup whipping cream
• 4 tablespoon sugar,
• Pinch salt
• 1-2 Tbsp. hazelnut liqueur

Recipe

• Bring milk to boil over medium heat, in a small saucepan.
• Combine egg, 2 tablespoon sugar, salt, chocolate chips and liquer in blender on low, while milk heats.
  
• Pour boiling milk into blender while it is turning, in slow steady stream. Egg will be cooked and chocolate will melt by the hot milk. Blend for 1 minute, or until smooth. Pour chocolate mixture into demitasse cups and chill.
• After dinner, place cream mixture in in medium bowl and use electric mixer to beat until soft peaks are formed.
• Add the remaining sugar and beat to combine. Now, top the chocolate cups with dollop of cream.
• Place cups on saucers to serve. Don't forget to serve with demitasse spoons.

I was wondering about Mothers, as Mothers Day 2008 is approaching. Realized that to be a Mother, one does not need to actually give birth. They can be called Special Moms. Many a times when I am with my sister, Tracy's kids, I feel the mother in me wide awake. I am quite casual otherwise. But when my sister's kids are with me, I cannot help but be cautious and careful about them. Thats quite a different feeling.
Even one's dad can be a Mom. I had a friend in school who was raised by his Dad alone as her parents were separated. She proudly proclaimed in school that her dad was both her mom and her Dad.
Sometimes, kids brought up by foster moms or governesses also consider them to be their Mother more than their Biological Mother. Even teachers can have a special place as Mom in someone's heart.

Whether by chance, or by choice, every women who leads the life of a single mother , single handedly is a living miracle. For women who become a single mother by choice are not only brave, but I would choose to call them fighters. I can imagine the different aspects of life they have to take care of, all alone. She not only has to be a mother, but also be a father, also a financial provider for the family, and at the end of the day, she has no life of her own, but she fights for her kid's life. Single mothers who are single moms not by choice, but by destiny are also one of those who deserve ample respect. An easy option for them would be to go for abortion, but without paying much attention to society they go ahead a give birth to a life and call that life, her own. Isn't it wonderful? A mother's love is simply splendid and unconditional. It expects nothing in return, like any other love.
