Receiving blankets make the perfect photo backdrop for baby pictures. I always seemed to have a blanket to coordinate to what Patrick was wearing. It also fueled the fire to collect more blankets to match more outfits. Cute, colorful, and sure beats the same old background setting of where you'd normally take your babies pictures!
