This free printable Mothers Day invitation is a little old fashioned but that somehow seemed appropriate for Mother's Day. But then again purple and lace are pretty timeless, so maybe it's not so old fashioned after all. The design features antique-looking lace overlaid on purple fabric, bordered by a satin ribbon, a purple pansy, baby's breath (how appropriate for Mothers Day!) and some ivy.

The colors in the invitation personify spring, so I thought they were very appropriate for a holiday that sits smack in the middle of the cheeriest of seasons.
